I see no weakness, but strength. (I viewed the uncensored version, linked from the article).
By their non-violent resistance they provided a stark contrast to the abusive trashiness of the "protesters".
The women were b*tches, the guys, impressive in that they held their ground the only way they could under the circumstances and rules of engagement.
What would you expect from people who want the right to kill their own children?
