More like:
“I’ve got my own money,
....................I wanna spend yours”
Oops!
That should read “Full on Harpy Mode”
I was going to ping you to this thread...
You can always find success stories. Those are good to hear.
My take on musicians, in general, they are fun people to be around, but are usually not very stable. Lots of ups and downs and drama. I know a guy who would never get a date if he could not play a guitar as well as does. The guitar is his social ice-breaker. Whatever works, more power to him.
Anyone who’s ever been broke and then come into money will tell you that - suddenly - he’s extremely popular with the ladies.
Like it or not, money attracts women like flies to roadkill in July.
for those with a lot of wealth and assets they are.
In Palm Springs, its the older guy with his nephew... :)
What is the difference between those men and johns?
Accountants and computer programmers were on the bottom. No doubt money changes that perception for many women.

Really? I always loved and dated accountants, and all the MiS guys. They were all so stable and logical.
My ex MIL is the type who sends restaurant food back every time with one complaint or another and complains about any service industry person who is unfortunate to cross her path. Id had to think of the Japanese sci-fi radiation mutant shed become if she came into wealth.

How sad. People with substantial wealth and used to it are usually self effacing and polite.
Only for those that don’t really understand what a marriage is.
that’s not necessarily true. one of the two can, the other could be playing them. some people can be duped due to being in love and wanting things to be what they want, and that’s just a recipe for a setup.
they both also could be stupid and maybe were great romantic lovers, but find there’s nothing there when that phase tapers down to normalcy and general patterns.
Sticking up for the women eh?
If you start a marriage, loving your wealth more than your wife, I guess you should have a pre-nup.
I wish more woman thought like you. However, that was the result of that survey. I think it was in COSMO.
I am saying the very wealthy, the ones that DO love their future wives, to the point of being unable to see they’re getting played, THEY are the ones that really need one.
There are real gold-diggers in the world. That fact cannot be ignored or glossed over. And there have been plenty of rich people that have been in genuine love with another person and married that person only to have that person divorce them and take half their stuff.
You may take a “well they got what they deserved” approach to it but I think for some cases it’s not an unreasonable thing. Besides many of the prenups of the rich pay off the spouse in the millions of dollars anyway under certain conditions. Just not HALF.
I would suggest if you don't trust your future spouse, you should not be getting married. The money will not be the biggest problem in your life.
I live in a different world. But then even if several oil wells make my family multimillionaires, our home would not be considered a mansion.
we are having two different conversations. i don’t disagree with YOU or how you approach it.
God Bless, Merry Christmas
