I live in Wisconsin, and whenever it’s at least 50 degrees, I put at least 20 miles on my Trek 5000 per day.
Most of that MIGHT be possible, but the sideways jump onto the railroad track at 3:12 is something else entirely.
And those wheels aren’t cheap either.
Those dudes have some serious balance.
Those wheels cost more than my whole road bike, a modest $1200 Trek.
Aluminum frame, carbon fork. Almost 10 years old. I'd like to get a new all-carbon one, but I don't have $3000. If I did get one, I sure wouldn't do with it what the guys in this video do.
Your old Trek costs more than my 3 year old Schwinn Fastback. And I wouldn’t even treat my $850 Schwinn like these guys are treating these bikes. I’m sure it’s a tough bike, but it’s not designed for that kind of abuse.
