Either Sarah did not get good advice a couple years ago, or she was hardheaded, and refused the advice given. I like Sarah, and she will likely become an elected or appointed official in the future due to her broad understanding of how government works. Sarah damaged her own brand repeatedly by going off message too many times, or allowing herself to be seen doing silly or frivolous stuff too often. Ted Cruz, so far, is much more disciplined and consistent. The average voter needs their politician to behave in a consistent predictable way. The Duck Dynasty actor takes advantage of a perk that comes with growing older, saying or doing exactly what you want to say or do.
