I resent the implication that my tender romances are déclassé in any manner. It's science fiction, of the category that I call sociological science fiction.

Being, of course, "What would happen if?" a distant society which had, for reasons of safety and sanitation, done away with men altogether, until they decided to bring back a useful substitute in the altogether.

What's pornographic about that? It's a (sniff) beautiful love story of real devotion and dedication.
