It’s not even just “I was like” and “we were like.” They stick the word “like” randomly throughout a sentence. “And then, like, I said to him you’re, like, such a dweeb, like, really.”
So I was all, “Whoa!” and he’s like “Dude!”, and then she goes “No way!”
