FR is my social media.
I thought I'd make a list of A&E affiliated companies.
If people are interested in boycotting A&E over the firing of Phil Robertson, A&E is owned by Hearst and Disney/ABC. Taking a boycott beyond A&E to the parent companies other businesses can really hit them where it counts.
If people are interested in posting on Facebook or whatever go right ahead.
My sources were Wikipedia.
Always.
bump
wouldn’t it be grand if DD bought A&E???
I still wonder who owns the rights to the show ..and if A and E cancels it, do the Robertson’s have the right to take it to another cable outfit.
It will be interesting to see how this comes out.
Nice work!
I’ll mention, though, that it is the advertisers that drive all decisions- they pay the bills, salaries and profits.
None of them want ‘problems’, and many of them want those high-profit margin homo viewers.
Houston Chronicle. Figures. In 1995 there was some front page editorializing on “gay” marriage and that Jesus was queer (blasphemy!).
The bottom line is the bottom line. The Robertsons, A&E and their stockholders all stand to make a lot of money from this publicity stunt. I would like to believe that Phil Robertson is acting on his principles and will not compromise. Wait and see.
was he fired or just suspended?
I’m sure Walt is turning over in his grave now.
Now the next thing we need to do, if they don’t reinstate Mr. Robertson, is boycott their advertisers as well.
$$$ Talks
Nice work !
I'm boycotting ESPN not because of politics, but because of a bias towards UConn.
Time to hit them where it Hearsts.
TV is 90% LGBT. They can go f themselves.
In other words, all of the entertainment arts is incestual, and you can’t get away from it save throwing out the TV and radio, papers and all magazines (except maybe Penthouse)
