Can you confirm these free movies are legit?

LOL! What are you? Some kind of old fogie?

I know how it feels. I'm 45 and in the Navy. I'm surrounded by people 20+ years younger than me. They look at me as some kind of dinosaur when I tell them I rented a movie from Redbox or purchased music from iTunes. Kids today download EVERYTHING for free. The entertainment industry is very frightened.

I read the book a few years ago and then saw the movie on DVD two nights ago.

This is a **rare** instance of the movie being better than the book. I am sorry that I didn’t take the time to see it in a theater. As beautiful as it was on a monitor, it must have been spectacular on a big screen.

I watched it on one of the premium channels.

Dull, way too long, boring.

I have noticed many movies are now over 2 hours. I guess they have to fill up the time to justify the ticket prices. However, filler stuff is still boring. Many of those movies could cut out 30 minutes without impacting the actual movie.

I recall watching Clooney’s The American on Netflix DVD. It was an hour or more of watching a vehicle travel across the desert and then watch the returned trip across the desert. The only parts more boring were the parts with Clooney in bed.

My husband and I both loved it. And we are very hard to please where today’s movies are concerned.

Spider-man’s secret identity is Peter Parker, and Richard Parker is his deceased father in the movie. I’m sure it’s just a coincidence, but the fact that they used the same actor and he says the name in such a distinctive way makes it seem funny to me.

Maybe the Spider-man sequel will reveal that his dad turned himself into a tiger with his genetic experiments :)
