Me too. We are on the Preppers Ping. We're so screwed.
What a wonderful story. May God give all your family the best Christmas you have ever had. I know your mother will treasure your father’s gift of jewelry but most of all treasure the love it represents. Merry Christmas
Thank you.
Thank you for sharing. That is so beautiful. Please let us know of her reaction when she opens this very precious gift. Bless you and your family!
If a Christian dies with unrepentant sin, does that mean they will not be forgiven of their sins if they die? I certainly don’t think so. The Lord knows our hearts.
Thank you. God bless you and your family and Merry Christmas.
My dear friend,
Taking one’s life is NOT the unforgivable sin. According to God’s Holy Word, that unforgivable sin and that unforgivable sin alone is blasphemy against (the denial of) the Holy Spirit. Many people are affected by sickness that plays games with the mind. Just like all other forgivable sins, the “sin” of your father can be traced back to the garden and the author of sin, satan himself. Take heart, if both you and your father have made a heartfelt profession of faith in God’s gift to the world, His Son Jesus and what He did for you on the cross at Calvery, you WILL see him again. Have blessed Christmas!!
I want to thank you for reminding me to think of my father this Christmas. it been 24 years and for some reason he is not thought of often during the holiday season.
The thoughtfulness of your Dad is, to me, the spirit of what Christmas should be to families.
So sorry for the loss of your Dad but you are very blessed to have had such a loving father. May you and your family treasure the memories of him during this blessed season.
Oh Lord. spent most of these evening with tears that dont seem to want to stop. been a long time since i cried. thank you friends for the warm and heartfelt comments.
i sit here waiting for my newly enlisted army son. he is on a plane back home. just called me from phoenix stop over. he will be home by 6am.
God bless all.
Thank you. I have been very blessed to have such wonderful parents. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Have a very Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year.
Once a person truly professes faith in Jesus and what He did for us on the cross, sin does one thing. It breaks fellowship with God. It does not cost us our salvation. However, I question the concept of unrepentant sin in a true believer. Once you have made that proession of faith and earnestly mean it, there should be no sin that would be “unrepentant”. The Holy Spirit that lives in you is quick to convict you and if you truly believe in the grace God has shown you through His Son, you WILL repent in light of that grace. If you are unrepentant in light of that grace, might I suggest you really examine your profession of faith to make sure you really meant it when you made it. The good news is this . . . you still have time to make your salvation sure if you come to the conclusion that your previous profession of faith was not made in earnest. May God bless you with surety of mind and heart this Christmas.
Thank you and God bless you and your family. Merry Christmas!
God bless you and the family.
Thank you for the post. I believe I may have worded my post wrong. I can promise it’s not the first time.
If a Christian has sinned and hasn’t yet asked forgiveness before they die, I believe they can be forgiven. Unrepentant was a poor choice of words on my part. Again, thank you.
I’ll add that there is still so much that I need to learn.
Thank you. May God bless you and your family too.
Teary eyes before I go to bed. Thanks for sharing. PLEASE let us know how she reacts. God bless you all.
Thank you. God bless you and your family.
