I must disagree!! Moss has been there, done that….and was among the best ever at his peak…….Obama never has been any of that…….

Cris Carter said essentially the same thing on ESPN’s Mike and Mike Show the other day when the discussion centered on the way the game has changed on hitting rules.

I really admired Randy Moss, even when his behavior was unreasonable.

However, his performance in the Super Bowl last year really disturbed me.

Play #1 - he didn’t even try to jump for the interception that went over his head.

Perhaps it was so badly overthrown there was no chance at all, but still, it’s the Super Bowl, and you have to give everything you have, even if it looks impossible.

Play #2 - the interception from his left side, where the defender got inside him and picked him off.

Once again, perhaps the camera angle distorts things, but to me it looked like Moss clearly had a chance to step up and, maybe not catch the ball, but at least vigorously contest or block the interception.

Those two plays left a really bad impression on me, and I’ve never felt the same way about Moss since.
