It was great when it first began down here, during the summer especially.

I live pretty close to the gulf and in the summer you could have a thunderstorm or thunderstorm complex pop up pretty quick.
Just turn on the TV and in a few minutes you would get the radar picture of what's fixing to happen in an hour or so.

Now it's just easier and quicker to turn on the computer and go to Intellicast or one of the local TV station radars.

Plus it pissed me off when they fired that little gal that flew with the hurricane hunters as part of her AF reserve duties.
Think that happened not too long after NBC bought them out and they started going downhill big time with global warming BS.

I agree about the recent past (and current) direction of TWC. They should have done a spinoff channel if they wanted to get in that racket.

It does bode well for maybe an AccuWeather channel in the future though? I actually hope not as I’m not a big fan of Joel Myers, but that’s another story for another day.
