The war between Duck Dynasty and A&E isn't over. This was merely the initial battle and the Left and the homosexual community lost in the court of public opinion. And that is something the left just will not tolerate.
NOTICE:
1) A&E made their announcement very late this Friday and during the lull between Christmas and New Years. Too late for the pundits to chat about this. Most networks have second or third stringers on so not too much coverage there.
2) A&E has noted in the article they will be airing PSA announcements during the show promoting tolerance, etc. Not sure if these will be aired during DD or after. But the propaganda continues.
3) I predict there will be a disclaimer at the beginning of the show stating something to the effect that "the views presented on this show do not reflect the views of A&E. A&E supports tolerance and diversity."
4) Lastly, these are not Phil's opinions, which is how the Biblical viewpoint on homosexuality is being characterized. It is The Word of God.
You’re right. The propaganda (”public service” - barf - announcements) will be funded by fans of the show.
I also wonder who is delivering these PSAs. Hopefully none of the Robertsons. I guess this is being done to appease the GayKK.
I also hope that Mr. Robertson is not curtailed in future speaking engagements. I hope he’s not on a tight leash.
Well, we still have to watch the whorish previews of the trashy “Cowgirls” show that is right after DD. I see that crap and the TV goes off for about 1 minute. The kids complain but I tell them why and that I’m not turning it on until I’m sure it’s over and they’re quiet.
A&E is still in shock that much of America and most DD viiewers see things differently than them.
I think there needs to be an onslaught of PSAs warning people not to kill the messenger.
It needs to be clearly stated that God’s word tells everyone that homosexuality is a sin. It is forgivable and these sinners can be healed like everyone else. If people take exception to this, their argument is with God and God alone.
Their only course of action is to seek God and ask to be shown the truth, not to try and change something God has declared a sin into something acceptable.
I feel better now that I am not the only one using “GayKK”...
DVR with a zap button. it’s the only way to watch tv. I *never* watch anything on time. When the ads come, I hit the button 2 or 3 times. Each tap is 30 seconds forward.

It will be no tighter than it was prior to this tiff, because the written contract remains unchanged. Apparently, there is existing contract language that A&E has the right to pre-approve interview questions, but their "handler" on-site during the GQ interview fouled up, intentionally or not. Reportedly, Phil and the interviewer drove off in Phil's ATV, which is a two-seater, leaving the handler behind and unable to screen questions.
But the homos don't watch DD. So this announcement has no impact.

You're missing the point that the homos thought they can get Phil to apologize and kiss their brass ring. It didn't happen. Phil 1, fudgepackers 0.
I think A&E got motivated to kiss and make up when Jesse Jackson “demanded” a meeting with them within 72 hours. They only way to prevent JJ from weaseling in was to make up with Phil.

I am happy for this. On the surface it appears to be a cave in by the libs.
However, the Bible tells us “to be on the alert because our adversary, the devil, roars about like a hungry lion ready to devour someone.”
The lion isn’t happy he didn’t get to feed. He will not go away. We need to remain vigilant.
