Rumor has it Rob Chudzinski (sic) will be fired as Browns coach after today's loss to Pittsburgh. IMHO, it's Lombardi and Banner that ought to be fired. Just saying. Five Pro-Bowler's plus one alternate, and an abysmal record...this tells me it's not the coach, it's the player personnel he was given to work with. Perhaps the Browns really could re-build, like KC did, but not if there is absolutely no stability to the program, and we have "back-stabbing crap-weasels" in charge of the draft/front office (quote from a friend - sums it up, check the history in C-town!)...
*pinging” to send to Ohio list, should anyone care to comment...we’ll see what happens re: Browns, and meantime, Merry Christmas week! ;)
The fact they would want to fire their coach AFTER ONE YEAR, doesn’t speak well of their decision making. One year is not enough time to turn around a team, and Cleveland was not good.
Something must have occurred, other than just a bad record.
For Ohio ping list, if interest...!
If the front office gives you five pro-bowlers and one alternate it can’t be all their fault. I’m not defending their decisions—but that team just was not motivated at all. Two number ones, one second round and two third rounders and they could be the next Chiefs. I’d rather they be the next Eagles.
DUMB!
Ohio ping - of possible interest.
Thanks 88keys!
There is NOTHING wrong with the Browns uniforms.
Saw it on NFLN a short time ago and it was probably already decided by the time you posted. Not surprising.
Who would be drawn to coach a team in such disarray with an owner being a possible felon, the GM coming from a fantasy football background and the entire Cleveland area waiting to see how their Brownies will blow two first round picks?
Banner is a know-nothing punk. Very lame move.
I remember another coach the Browns fired, what was his name? Beli-something.......I’m sure it will come to me eventually.
Remember Jimmy Johnson’s first year as rookie coach with the Cowboys went 1-15, a few years later he won 2 Superbowls with them. Good thing they didn’t fire him after just one year.
Cleveland management is short-sighted. Those idiots in Cleveland also fired Bill Belichek years ago too.
He was not well-liked as Browns coach, had a terrible owner and apart from one playoff year, was a failure there. No one knew what would happen years later in NE.
