My parents went to the NFL Title games in 61, 62 and the Ice Bowl. They’ve always felt that the title game in 62, at Yankee Stadium, was by far the coldest as the wind was cold and damp and chilled them to the bone.
My Uncle played in “The Greatest Game Ever Played” the 1958 Championship game, starting DB for NY. Another very cold affair.
