What happens when u start dropping the new “acceptable” enviro-friendly mercury filled lightbulbs on the ground?
What happens when they accidentally break in public places???
Who gets to clean it up?
I bought a 3 pack of the damned things last summer, they all burned out within a month.
Isn’t the light bulb ban a thing which originated with Bush?
Just saying.
We need to bring back more than lightbulbs.
We need to bring back American jobs.
Here is a federal website showing the trade deficit in the past, and now. Look at the years all the way back to Bush.

Then go back further. A little over a generation ago, America was the undisputed champion of the world.
A generation ago, we made everything, and sold it all over the globe.
Now we are badly falling behind. And both of our parties are selling out America.
I’m serious. Look at the history behind this negative balance. Look all the way back to 1980. Then follow it forward. To now...

300 billion in trade deficit every single year now.
This is rapidly spinning out of control.
Bring back American jobs now.
Canada Ping!
( Literally, "We will astonish the world with our ingratitude" )
Canadians will be left to light their homes with two main remaining options: compact fluorescents the twirly-looking ones and LEDs. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
This is not entirely true, incandescent bulbs which are heavy duty, vibration proof bulbs will still be available ( the loop hole for commercial lighting).
THESE ARE CALLED ROUGH SERVICE LIGHTS.You can buy these at any hardware store even after the ban.In particular the Phillips 60 watt garage dooor opening system bulbs are good to go ( made by Phillips).
SO NO NEED TO PANIC BECAUSE OF THESE LIBERAL COERCIVE UTOPIANS........EFF THEM EVERY ONE.Use rough service incandescent bulbs, they last longer anyway.

“However, like in many instances there is always a but Exemptions to the standards have been identified where an alternative for an efficient bulb is not available, including oven lights, decorative lamps (light bulbs), appliance bulbs, three-way fixtures, chandeliers and rough service/utility bulbs, as well as for agriculture and industrial applications where lighting is used to keep animals or equipment warm.”
