Barbancourt black star rum.....as good as those twice the price......rhum Martinique...white...raw....dirt cheap...great stuff.......pampero anniversaro..20 bucks and worth twice that....brandy style rum

Once in a awesome steak house called St Elmo’s in Indianapolis back in 86 we had a hundred dollar steak dinner an a shot of brandy that was kept under lock and key behind the bar and was 50$ a .......shot. 1986. I think it was a Courvoisier’s product. Our boss bought the four of us a shot. I would not have paid that for such.

I disagree. I’d rather cough up the extra $5 or so and get Jim Beam, and if budget isn’t really a concern I’ll go with Maker’s Mark.
