America is still here, ain't it?

Posted on 01/05/2014 7:38:08 PM PST by RoosterRedux

Like most of us, I have measured and evaluated the idea that Obama and his communist backers were taking over (I even spent a goodly amount of money on arms and ammo). The abject failure of Obamacare was a pretty clear indicator that the communists who were planning to take over were either incompetent or completely unprepared for such takeover.

I believe that even those who believed Obamacare was meant to fail as a step toward a single payer system were mistaken.

The failure of Obamacare is a failure of government.

Americans are laughing...and they will soon be angry.

I believe Obama was mistaken.

If there were a planned takeover of America by Communists, they have failed miserably. They might have succeeded by an effective implementation of Obamacare...but they stumbled and fumbled and fell!

I am not sure exactly how America will emerge from the failed era of Obama...but it will emerge (and he will be a joke).

And the world economy will move on...and those who invest in it wisely will profit.

I think we are about to emerge from a period known as “The Social Insanity of America”...

Anyone who disagreed with our socialist president was called a racist.

Anyone who complained about gays was called a homophobe.

Anyone who complained about Communism was called a conservative...

But in the end, the conservatives are still here...and we aren’t gay and we aren’t socialist!

But we are rather happy if not exactly gay...

The America you know is gone.

The America we've known and loved didn't exist until good men found their courage and dared to create it out of nothing. They stood and fought against the same type of people who are dismantling the foundations of our country today.

It's possible to restore the America we love, but it won't be done without a fight. It's up to each of us to determine whether we're willing to stand as our forefathers did, or allow their sacrifices and hard work to slip into the pages of history.

It never hurts to be optimistic.
It is also good to pray.

“The America you know is gone.”

I tend to agree.

You don't say.

..... wait .... yes you do. All the time.

We built this country and we can rebuild it. This is still America no matter who thinks they are in charge. Battles are lost, but wars are won. This war is a long way from over.

Amen, sister. Ignore the naysayers and the doom and gloomers. On the day the battle is joined, they'll be nowhere in sight.

I tend to agree. The pro Marxist population continues to expand, and traditional Americans continue to die off.

yes, the marxist/democrat population is being imported from Mexico, and other 3rd world hellholes. it all started with the 1965 immigration act. before that immigrants to the USA came almost exclusively from Europe

30 years ago ,99% of chineese were living in the stone age under socialism

it is only when China allowed private ownership of busineess(capitalism) that it started to prosper economically,

socialism is government ownership, government running things

capitalism is private ownership of businesses

china has many private companies and many American companies like Walmart, mcdonalds, are in China now. Toyota also in China . that's not socialism

socialism really is single payer, one owner = the government.

the type of government can be totalitarian but it's how much interference and how much private ownership that is allowed in the economy that determines the sucess of the economy

so clearly if government laws and regulations on business are reduced then businesses will prosper more here.

reduce taxes, privatize many things, reduce government laws regulations ,get government size down and the economy will take off and so would freedom

He already is a joke and a useless POS, it’ll just take awhile for some folks to actually understand that.

Alex, this is a war for the heart and soul of this country. We might not be hiding behind trees shooting at redcoats, but we are fighting just the same. We are fighting rampant corruption, racial divides that never had to be, perversion, decadence, an ever expanding federal government that does not have OUR interests at their core or anywhere along the line, the destruction and abuse of our military, the brainwashing of our children, the theft of our property, a broken voting system that literally takes the meaning out of our votes. We are fighting for our voice which is heard but ignored. We are fighting a full scale invasion of this country by illegals which includes Lord knows how many jihadis.
WE haven’t fired any shots...yet, but we are being pushed from every direction known to man, and eventually, that will happen if they find the right button to push.
If this is not a war, I don’t know what is.

I understand that, but I have had no definition of “fight” from anyone. Just how do you do it? Do you punch your leftist neighbor in the face? Do you burn down Dimocrap headquarters? Do you invade the Whitehut? Do you storm Congress? Do you march in the streets? No, you may argue with a few leftist neighbors, but you have zero impact.
It is logical to say that you talk to your middle of the road Democrat neighbors, or hold public rallies, but “fight” is pretty much an empty word in this case.

The problem is that traditional Americans are now far outnumbered by the give-me crowd.
It was at least ten years ago that I realized that America would not return to the country that I grew up in, and my ancestry goes back to the real Uncle Sam, 1812.

I chose to spend my senior years with an international life to see how others live. I did my duty as a loyal American, from Boy Scouts to civil defense, Civil Air Patrol, volunteer fireman, to most every volunteer civic activity.

Yes, nothing compares to the OLD America that I grew up in, but just like the founding fathers, I saw when my home country had left me.

yer stating the obvious ... to an educated supply-sider, no less.

the current Chinese model is the kind of capitalism we can do without. It is also the kind of marxism we can do without.

I still think Obummer can upset the apple cart in so many ways for so many peopl that we’ll spend years of infighting just to get back to where we are now — or better yet, where we were 20 years.

We are a resilient people, but our strength and resilience haven’t been seriously tested in many years. That may change soon.

You have a very optimistic view; I take a darker one. Gun laws are racheting down to include those who don't need to be banned. That will not ever be reversed. Obamacare is one of the most pernicious wealth-transfer schemes ever devised by the Communists. That will not ever be reversed. Voter fraud is such that even after 4 years of a disastrous regime, Republicans -- who they claimed wouldn't go to the polls -- were incredibly undercounted. The voter fraud will not ever be reversed.

Because you will NEVER see another Republican -- much less CONSERVATIVE -- President in your lifetime, the job-killing arbitrary and capricious regulations of the EPA will never be reversed. The NSA, heinously spying on every single American -- and creating a blackmail dossier by so doing -- will never be reversed.

It took one-and-one-half whole generations for the Soviets to throw off the chains of Communism, and even then, they slid back into a form of tyranny.

We will throw the chains off quicker -- maybe only one generation -- but we will not be around to see it. And who knows what follows?

It looks worldwide, too. It seems the great human experiment with freedom is over.
