Do what I do with my goats. Grab them by the horns, throw them to the ground and give them a swift kick. They become very docile, unfortunately they also have very short memories. Animals need to know who is boss.

I once stored some parts cars at a farm where there were goats, the owner told me to watch out for one of the billy goats, he would sneak up behind you, and but you.
