Gun Control
I am for the right to have guns. I'm a gun owner. But nobody needs to own an AK-47. They say these assault rifles are great for hunting. You can't hunt game with an AK-47. And if you're a responsible gun owner, why wouldn't you go through a background check? The only people who don't want background checks are fugitives, tax dodgers and terrorists.

He’s either a tool or a fool.
No, not true at all. The AK-47 fires the 7.62x39 round, which ballistically is almost identical to the .30-30. Most states also have a magazine limit while hunting, so you can't use a 30 round magazine, either, but limited to 5. So I fail to see where you are "fishing with dynamite" with an AK.
But the AK itself is a decent hunting platform, and the cartridge is a very decent hunting cartridge.
Now, the AR platform with it's 5.56 or .223 round, that is not a legal caliber in most states. So the proper statement would be "you can't hunt with an AR."
But you can get the AR platform in other calibers such as .300 Blackout that is another dandy deer round.
He’s preening for the LEO community.
