The J47 wasn’t in any of those aircraft.

That was the J79.

How could I have made such a silly mistake. Thanks for pointing it out. I got carried away with memories, and didn't take time to re-read before posting. So foolish. The J79, of course.

It was easy for me to remember.

I spent a lot of time as a DOD contract employee pulling them out of F4’s at MCAS Beaufort, SC back in the early 70’s.

BTW did you know the B-57 Canberra Bomber had Buick jet engines in it?
