I have quite a bit of design software that I routinely use for a side business I have. Non of it is compatible with Windows 8 and its not economically feasible for me to repurchase this. Looks like I'll be keeping my XP machine running for quite some time.

I know the feeling, I hate my 7 so bad I’m thinking of looking for a used/rebuilt XP. I got an Ipad just to eliminate 80 percent of my 7 needs.

I went from a 15-year user of XP and was forced into 8. I want my XP back. You would have experienced a much smoother transition going to Windows 7 instead of Windows 8. Windows 7 is a lot like an upgraded XP.
