I understand respect for remains but those that pre-date recorded history are part of the common heritage of all of us. We will never understand our roots as a species, the evolution of DNA, illness and disease without scientific access to these ancient findings. Burying the body without analysis robs us all of this important information. Remember that populations of pre-historic man were not that large. One skeleton could give us a lot of information.

I know what you’re saying, but I doubt that was a serious question I answered: “I wonder how long she’s been dead.”

Obviously, 2,000 years. The joke being she died at the age of 2,000.

The title of the article is: Skeleton of 2,000-year-old woman unearthed in Davie (Florida)

:)
