(waitasec. read this sentence carefully.) maybe when they broke up they tried to remain friends, but he threatened her so she ended it all completely... or maybe when she ended it with the first guy, she was just friends with the second guy, and the first guy was jealous and threatening, so she ended it with him, and eventually started a relationship with the current boyfriend... :)
