Francois Hollande wants to publicly announce his separation from Frances first lady Valerie Trierweiler but is scared to do while she is in hospital, it was claimed today. As the President prepared to clarify his relationship with his girlfriend of seven years because of his on-going love affair with an actress, Elysee Palace aides said he was desperate not to appear weak. Some have advised him to make an announcement of a split, but the hospitalisation of Valerie Trierweiler convinced him to give it time, one told Le Parisien today. Ms Trierweiler, 48, is briefing the newspaper from her a hospital bed in central Paris, where she has been lying since news of Mr Hollandes affair with Julie Gayet, 41, broke last Friday.

If it was in the Anerican press it would have said "scared to do while she is in the hospital". Stupid Euros.
It was the best he could get without having to undergo extensive plastic surgery.
Wow, a genuine French farce. All that's missing is a cuckolded husband, a French maid with a frilly apron, short skirt and high heels and a lover diving out a bedroom window.

Agreed. But you can’t judge a book by its cover. Perhaps they have some “special” talents.
If this isn’t a sign of the nouveau riche, I don’t know what is. She stays in the hospital for a week or more because her live in boyfriend jilted her? Imagine if we all acted like that after a breakup. Jeeezeee! Get over it. Be like the rest of the normal people, move on with your life...
