IMO it’s been the responsibility of the medical community...particularly neurologists,neurosurgeons and neuropathologists...to publicize *everything* they knew about this particular issue.If they had enough data to recommend that people shouldn’t play pro football...or high school or college football for that matter then there you go.If they didn’t,then obviously there’s no issue here.These medical experts having announced that there’s a problem,assuming there was one,individual players could make their own decisions.There are plenty of dangerous occupations out there and most of them manage to attract applicants.I have enormous trouble assigning blame to the NFL here.
