Many allergies are thought to be the body’s immune system reacting to certain substances thinking the substances are invasions of the body. Most of it is treatable and the body can be trained to stop reacting to the products, even the dreaded peanut allergy.

Re. the peanut allergies.....don’t the kids actually have to ingest it to have a reaction? I’m not sure why other kids aren’t allowed to eat peanuts.
