BOSTON (CBS) – New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft is reflecting on his 20 years at the helm and looking forward to Sunday’s AFC Championship.

WBZ-TV’s Lisa Hughes sat down with Mr. Kraft on Wednesday.

A season ticket holder, he said buying the team was a dream come true. Since then, Kraft has brought three championships to New England.

But after this season’s rocky start, can they bring home a fourth Super Bowl title?

“There’s something pretty special down there in this locker room,” Kraft said. “It’s not really how you start your season, it’s how you finish.”

I think Joe Cool (who Brady idolizes and was actually at the 1981 "The Catch" game as a 4-year old) might have something to say about that.

I just watched that drive on Youtube. SFO had six turnovers in that game and Montana had 3 ints. Not that anybody remembers that part.

-— Got no love of cheaters. -—

Or excuse makers.

Every team was doing what the Pats did. Then the commissioner sent out a letter warning the teams to stop using video equipment. Belichick continued for a few more months before they were caught. It was the end of the world as we know it.

But since then, the Pats have lost continuously. No wait, they continue to win, year after year.

Teams still continue to try to steal signals, using lip-readers, etc.

Pats, with all the injuries and with no one but rookies for Brady to throw to, completely changed their offense this year and still are one win away from the Super Bowl. Win or lose, Bilichek is the coach of the year.
