Movie producer Harvey Weinstein announced for the first time on Howard Stern’s radio show that he is making a full feature drama to try to destroy the National Rifle Association.
Mr. Stern asked Mr. Weinstein on Wednesday whether he owned a gun. The Hollywood heavyweight replied that he did not and never would. “I don’t think we need guns in this country. And I hate it,” the producer said. “I think the NRA is a disaster area.”

Memo to criminals: Harvey Weinstien has no guns.
They hate guns because they can kill but they make violent movies.
Remember that rash of movies in 2005-2009 designed to create anti-war hysteria and defame our military?
Weinstein might consider the level of success those movies achieved before launching into this project. And he’d also be wise to think twice before disparaging the NRA. Those folks don’t play when it comes to protecting their brand.
Look, I don’t muck care for Harvey Weinstein or the Hollyweird crowd.
I’m pro second amendment and pro NRA (the country’s FIRST non profit organization).
With that said, Harvey Weinstein has produced a lot of crap films, but some terrific films, too.
And the key here is ‘produced’ he doesn’t write and direct ‘em. He’s a money man
Two examples:
The Artist - 2011.
10 Academy award nominations - five wins including Best Film -— not too shabby for a non widescreen, black and white silent film. If you have not seen it, you are truly missing a special film - great American values on display. Of course, it’s technically a French film and Hollyweirdos don’t seem to have it in them anymore.
The Kings Speech - 2010.
12 Academy award nominations - four wins including Best Film. It’s an English film and it’s wonderful. Churchill takes a pot shot (verbally) at Neville Chamberlin and England has a War winning King.

Another gun salesman of the year...
If this movie gets made, millions will be spent making it, advertising it and so forth. Then liberals will see it, liberal critics will call it the greatest movie ever made, Streep will win one of twenty Oscars the film will gain.
The only problem, it’ll flop at the box office because the public that goes to work and earns a buck, the same public that can’t afford Streep’s and Weinstien’s armed bodyguards, won’t waste their money.
Our country is divided like it hasn’t been since the mid nineteenth century. I predict it will only worsen as time goes on.

Exactly! A lot of the movies have guns, explosions, BOOMS! They are usually the blockbusters, too. If Hollywood wants to make chick films only... go ahead. But.. they are total hypocrites on the matter.
And yet said he’s going to make a movie about the Warsaw ghetto. Perhaps the single best pro-gun argument there is! What am I missing?????
If someone produced and released a movie that portrayed Harvey Weinstein as a child abusing pedophile, just to ruin him, would he agree they had a right to do it?

Your premise is wrong, Hollywood celebrates pedophiles. Case in point, Roman Polanski. Some would argue, Woody Allen, but unlike Polanski, the only evidence against Allen is an allegation—at least to my knowledge, so I’d have to give Mr. Allen a pass on liberal hero status.
Okay, gun owners. He’s thrown down the gauntlet. It’s time to destroy Mr. Weinstein and Ms. Streep.

And I think the Holly weird is a disaster area. I haven't been to a movie since the original JAWS.
I have seen it and read countless articles of how liberal movies bomb at the box office. While Christian themed or patriotic movies enjoy big numbers. When will these people learn?

It’s no wonder Hollywood is failing. They all want to push their agenda instead of entertaining. I can’t remember when I saw an original idea put to film. Let them crash and burn.
Well, to be honest... anyone who is a member of NRA will not watch this liberal garbage. And they will not be ‘scared’ if they do.
On the other hand... the femminized fag men that are interested in this garbage scare pretty easily.
Hollyweird is a monopoly of leftist nitwits, who control what happens in the entertainment choices, of the otherwise freest nation of earth.
America needs a conservative alternate to Hollyweird.

When our own entertainment establishment gets this hands-on about an anti-American agenda, it is a sign we have been sleeping far too long.

A boycott by me won’t do any good. I haven’t been to a movie in 30 years. Might break that streak though, might go see “Lone Survivor”.
Meanwhile, “Lone Survivor” is packing in the audiences.
