My point exactly.

China represents a challenge to America unlike any country, even Russia.

America is losing our nation’s businesses.

We need businesses. Stop buying everything imported from China.

In some ways China is better, in other ways not. We are rapidly descending into a dictatorship and tyranny. We essentially have a one party establishment. The surveillance is very advanced in the US; and while we don’t have concentration camps yet, we do have a very high rate of per capita imprisonment. Our median income, though still higher than China, is declining; China’s is increasing. The US is deindustrializing, China is industrializing. China had the one child policy; the US encourages abortions and as a nation, we will have to answer for 50+million dead babies.
The US is nothing like it was originally intended to be today. Our government is run by an evil cabal. I’m not saying that I would like to live in an unfamiliar and highly corrupt society. I would like to think we could restrain and reform our own.
When the Soviet Union fell, I think that most Russians were thankful that the US hastened the demise of their corrupt regime. Who knows what will happen in foreign affairs. But someday, the direct or indirect actions of a foreign power hostile to the corrupt US regime, may in fact deliver Americans from our corrupt and hostile regime. But OTOH, a war usually strengthens tyrants at home. And it seems to me that our corrupt regime wants a war against China as a way to consolidate tyranny at home. It’s the oldest trick in the history of nations.

I remember that too. That was one of the moments that stuck in my head that once again proved to me that the democrats do not have the best interest of our country in their minds.

As we descend more and more into degeneracy, the more we descend into tyranny. Our Constitutional form of Government will work only for a moral people.

As Jimmy Swaggert put it: Much Bible, much freedom. Little Bible, little freedom. No Bible, no freedom. All you have to do to see where we are heading is open your eyes and look around you. [This is used only as an illustration, In no way do I intend to infer that your eyes are not open.]

Tariffs are better than Treason

But Treason is embedded in the very thought of the federal agent; he has been taught and trained to accept and support Treason as a matter of course.

This is why Fast & Furious, the literal arming of parties hostile to the states and providing them with legal protections, has been such a non-starter.

This is why Benghazi is no big deal.

This is why the leadership can sell you and your children into slavery, to the tune of $17 Trillion (with another $1.1 Trillion just added).

In short the spirit of Treason has been nurtured and embodied by the War on Drugs (WOD). You see, the WOD is justified on the idea that the congress can regulate intrastate commerce thorough the interstate commerce clause — To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes.

Now, as you can see the interstate commerce power is the exact same as foreign commerce; this means there is no difference between the attempt to regulate intrastate commerce as to regulate commerce occurring in a foreign nation. Indeed, if the federal government were to try to claim that power in a foreign nation, they would rightly consider it an act of war… and, obviously, the enforcement of that proclamation would entail the waging of that war (or the prior subjugation of that country).

So then, the enforcement of these usurped powers1. (regulating intrastate commerce) are a form of waging war upon the several states, which the Constitution plainly defines as Treason: Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.

1 — The authority to regulate another substance, alcohol, required a constitutional amendment which was since repealed. No such amendment has been effected with respect to the regulation of drugs.

“America is losing our nation’s businesses.”

And who’s fault is that? The US owned government motors is moving production to China. The EPA is shutting down coal here, raising energy costs, while China develops cheap energy. The US is on QE infinity and running enormous deficits (bank bail-outs, 0-care, Medicare, Medicaid), and debasing its currency. The US is killing small business via taxes and regulation. China, despite corruption and bribes, still promotes private enterprise to greater extent than the US, which doesn’t take a lot nowadays. And when the US economy tanks, and the military budget is slashed, who are you going to blame, China?

China is not the greatest threat to our freedom; the evil US government is. In fact the government wants you to direct your attentions and efforts against China, not the US government. This is an old Alinsky trick, don’t fall for it.

I disagree.

Both of our political parties have sold out America.

The Democrats want to build a big marxist monstrosity, and don’t care if America in the short term gets weaker, because they are winning control over our bureaucracy first.

The big problem is the Republicans.

Where are the Republicans?

No Republicans are supporting American workers.

Scr*w that. Americans need jobs.

Bring back American jobs. GOP stand up for America.

The people who should be helping America to become stronger, have sold out to China.

Bring back American businesses.

As usual, I don’t understand you. The US government is a greater threat to our freedoms than China is. Agree or disagree.
I agree that both parties are corrupt and they are selling out to the globalists. Agree or disagree?

I think China has a possibility of becoming, a threat to America’s long-term future.

I do NOT see our own government as a threat. Our own government is simply a mess. Currently it is run by Democrats so we don’t agree with many of it’s current policies, but I do NOT see our own government as a threat.

No I don’t.

However. I see no sign, that EITHER of our parties are ready to take a single step to protect the nation I love. Speaking as a process of building up America.

I’ve been to China, but I am increasingly of the opinion - we simply have given away everything, and at this point ... we need to start a deliberate effort to bring American businesses, back to America.

China is a massive, communist monolith which does not allow Americans to own property or even immigrate.

Meanwhile China’s population is HUGE. Five times larger than our own. A bunch more of them are men, than women, and they have the world’s largest military.

Now they simply all sell stuff which is made by communists, at factories with majority Chinese owners.

Who is looking out for America?

I agree that the Democrats and the Republicans are a problem, but China in my opinion, has far greater potential to become a real threat to all Americans.

I am not saying they are. But I am saying as clearly as I know how to, that they are heading that direction - and I see NOBODY who is lifting a single finger to oppose their eventual supremacy.

Bring back American jobs.

We have sold out America now for an entire generation.

China is now the world’s largest exporter, and they are a massive communist regime, where we can’t even own anything.

Why is our side, ordinarily the patriotic pro-American side, seemingly so utterly asleep about China?

“I do NOT see our own government as a threat”

And we have a winner. Best FR comment of the year!

Just what party is it that you expect to bring America back to where we once proudly stood?

Well, last time one party propelled us to dominance by creating a global need for America's manufacturing prowess and expertise.

The United States Marine Corps. :)

Are you aware of the flag officer retirement action being taken by the CiC? If the Marine Commandant doesn’t support queers of all sorts and Islam she/he will not remain in that position very long. If she/he does remain in the position you can bet your gonads that she/he will not turn against the dictator CiC.
