I don’t agree with that. I don’t like Michael Vick because of his cruelty to animals. I don’t care how he plays. I don’t like liberals of any occupation because they support my being a slave to the state. I don’t care how liberals play, I wish them to lose and that is how I am wired.
Manning is just picking them apart.
I am inclined to agree with you. In today’s world of professional sports that is inhabited by thugs and general idiots...there are lots of excelling athletes. But I have let their personal antics enter into my choice of who I support.
I guess that’s why I don’t watch sports like I used to. The good guys (or perceived good guys) are few and far in between. It shouldn’t be, but kids look up to these people.
I will often root for a player who isn’t super duper because he seems to be a good guy. (Tebow)
Of course Manning IS super duper And seems to be a good guy.
Of course, I haven’t heard horrible things about Brady either. Good game so far.
