I hate my HP windows 8. I have downloaded a program to make it palatable. My laptop is a warrantee replacement. It replaced a slightly different laptop that had the much better windows 7.
I need to call them about retro fitting it.
If you have a license for Win8, I believe you already have the right to “downgrade” it to 7, whether HP will do anything for you or not. So IOW, you already have a license, you just need to find some Win7 install media somewhere.
