One year my high school senior class got to see something they had never seen before; our team lost a football game. That's what happens when you have a future Heisman Trophy winner on your team and he goes off to college.
From 1969 through 1976 our school had a team that would win the league every year under his direction. When he left for another school during my senior year, I decided not to play football that year. He was THAT inspiring.
