Our schnoodle is one of the smartest dogs we’ve ever had. His bark is like fingernails on a chalk board and he uses it to get what he wants. He makes every effort to control the household. All in all, he is a good dog though.
My dad died, and it was his dog, Sam. Sam is 9 years old and he is smart, but in alot of different ways. MY dog ...who was the love of my life and is now gone was a German Shrot Haired Pointer. Very smart too in different ways.
The only thing about Sam is he wants to be petted 24/7!!
Sam only barks when someone is at my door. He is very domineering too.
When I take him to doggie day care the guy who works there always says : Sam is the BOSS, he’s always the BOSS with the other dogs. I laugh.
