You just don’t know. You can’t know how difficult the job is. If a cop has a bad day, say his best teen buddy won’t play, a cop might need to give the wifey a maglight migrane. Civilians just don’t understand how tough the job can be.
The important thing as always, is that this fine officer was able to get home safely to his wife.
