Karamojo Bell used a .303 and was a master of the rear quartering shot into the brain. He would stalk right into a herd and start killing the bulls left and right. It is said he was indirectly responsible for countless deaths from enraged elephants killing young colonial hunters seeking to duplicate his feats.
