The implications on elephant intelligence are profound. I don’t know of another animal who could do as well. I was impressed by the obvious thought process the animal went through before each stroke. Has anyone given a dolphin a paint brush?

I’ve long believed that elephants are sentient. It’s sad that they are either slaves or becoming extinct. Nobel creatures. Other primates on the other hand are mostly jerks. Sentient maybe but jerks. Same with parrots. I’ve lived with parrots. They have a lot of intelligence but they have no sense of ethics or morals.
