The Colombian guy was hitting on the pretty, married gringa at the cantina in the hotel. She didn't speak Spanish very well.
Finally, she said "Lo siento, soy cansada", thinking she is telling him that she's married.
"Y que!", he says.
She waves her ring finger at him.
"Ahhh, tu eres CASADA.", and she realises her mistake.
He pauses for a moment, then shrugs and says, "Bueno, son iguales despues de todo, entiendo. El 'n' no es importante. Buenos noches, senora.", and walks away.
(Note: Panamanian jokes are almost always about Colombians, and vice versa, for historical reasons. The joke may be funnier when completely in Spanish, dunno; I laughed my xxx off.)

cute! and yes, i know they were connected and probably had land issues between them. my daughter’s future fatherinlaw travels a fair amount to Panama. he’s an engineer and is helping them build a power plant, as a consultant.
But what about her casabas?
OMG! That was my first thought for stagiaire, or however it’s spelled.
In Wisconsin we run the water a little bit to get it hot. In California, we ran the water to get it cold!
