Then it will be mentioned in the State of the Union speech:

"Why, our economy is so strong, the DOW has repeatedly topped 16,000 making it 2X the amount it was 5 years ago."

Soros manipulating the market like he did in other countries and destroying them.

So far it looks like They ran everything up hard to a 10 AM high on “better than expected” Consumer Confidence numbers, and now everything is dribbling back down. I’d bet on a down day when it’s all said and done.

I think so too. Neil Cavuto was suggesting the other day we’re looking at a 10% correction, which means it should bottom out around 14,400.

If I woke up and found I had any assets in the stock market, I’d slap myself.

I’ll join you on betting it will be slightly down, with a bigger drop next time.

Does anyone have advice on what to do with 401K’s? Are there funds you can move into that protect from a correction? There is a money market fund in my 401k, would it be safe to park the money there to ride out a correction?

Personally, I never received any benefits through work, so never had a 401.....but we got out of all our personal mutual funds years ago after taking a significant hit - from then on, we've belonged to the "cash is king" CD club.

You don't earn anything, but you don't lose either, except for the inflation which the government claims doesn't exist.

I sleep better at night with this simple strategy...
