At least I'm not having to mow my lawn.

Here in Central Florida, during the fall/winter, we mow our lawns about once a month and they still look fairly green. One tree in my side yard is still trying to lose its leaves. Azaleas have been blooming in my hedge. It's sort of a mixed up fall/winter/spring combination. Having lived farther north most of my life, I still don't quite understand the seasons or lack thereof. Thermometer says it's 83 degrees on the back porch, but it's not warm enough to swim (unless you're Canadian).

The above is a mixture of gloating and confusion.

I just moved my family to FL this past end of summer. I am relishing in the degree heating days I moved from in Ohio this winter. These threads fill up with about half the posters gloating about their warm climates.

Hi everyone up north!
