The Icelandic people are some of the most healthy in the world in terms of longevity and lack of heart disease. Their diet is rich in dairy products and animal fat, almost all red meat, sheep, goats and cattle, with a little fish thrown in.
Go figure.
The problem with our dairy products is all of the antibiotics the cows are given. I’ve switched to almond milk, and the only way I’ll have dairy milk is non-fat milk and occassion hard (aged, not processed) cheese.
