Hahahahahaha! Only because they polled that opportunity got better numbers than inequality. But he still stole GWB’s 2007 SOTU. Plagiarism abounds.

Yes, I do too sometimes and it’s a total ripoff. So this Sodastream really helps.
The best price at Walmart for a 4 pack of Monster is like $6. So that is roughly $3/liter. If I can make 12 liters for $1/liter, I would pay $36 for the same amount of drink buying it in bulk at Walmart.

Buying it at a convenience store is even worse, like $5-6/liter.

it was 18 on Monday afternoon and it felt far colder than it has at even lower temps. maybe there was more moisture in the air bc it was before the snow, but it has been nothing short of bone-chilling for days. I have told xshub that i feel like we are in upstate NY, the cars are all salt covered, and the snow is STILL on the ground and it is just damn cold DAY AFTER DAY. i am not a pansy southerner unaccustomed to cold, but this is very unusual to have lasted this long, esp snow in the yard for this long. The front had melted on the one day we had temps in the 40s before it plunged back down and snowed again.

i think i took a sip of one of those once and found them gross [energy drinks]. xsboy used to drink them before hockey but i think he experienced crashing when it wore off, so he hasn’t had them in years. he JUST started drinking coffee this past year which shocked us all. they have a keurig at the hockey house [where he lives, kind of like a frat house but it’s the hockey team], so i bought him some DunkinDonut K cups to take back to school [along with laundry detergent and toilet paper for the house bc i think that can oftentimes be inequitable with one person buying all the time. When xsteen had the 3 roommates i know she felt put upon re toilet paper purchasing!]

It’s 22 out there today — we’re having a heat wave! sarc/off. I got my heating bill yesterday — $800.00. I wrote the check but I’m not sending it until it’s actually due.

It’s about like a coffee maker. Figure that there is a 1 liter reusable bottle that you use. The bottle screws into the head of the machine, so it’s about 6 inches taller than the bottle.

We got the “Fizz” model for about $50.

One of my dughters gave my husband a Keurig for his birthday last year, but he took it back and exchanged it for a winter jacket. We had a Keurig in our hotel room in CA this month. The coffee is really good, but EXPENSIVE. I was going to buy some to supplement what the hotel chambermaids supplied daily, but I decided I didn’t need it that much. Also, the Keurig was slow in comparison to making a whole pot.

We have a K cup machine. I don’t drink coffee, so rarely use it, but the wife and kid like it. The Dunkin Donuts cocoa is good.

I usually drink a zero sugar energy drink. There are different flavors, but the taste is definitely brash. They seem almost like you had liquified sweet tarts.

we have had keurigs in hotel rooms and i think it is perfect for that. it does taste good, but we will generally drink more than a cup each, so it wouldn’t be useful for us. Plus, i have a Tassimo which is similar, but which i rarely use.

Yes, I was almost $700 last month and I about croaked with that! My office heating bill was even worse — $7000. OMG, it hurt to write that check and the same month as the 1st installment of property tax is due — $12,000.

What this tells me is that you are math-challenged every morning, and not just on Mondays.

One day, when I want you to write me a check, I'm coming early in the morning.

You can buy a doohickey that lets you use any old coffee in the K cup machines. So that can save money.

But, you’re right, it’s not about making quantities.

What are you talking about?

To get 12 liters of drink, it would cost me about $1/liter with the sodastream. Or $12 total.

To buy the same amount of Monster at Walmart, at $6 for 4 cans, or (roughly) $3/liter, it would take 12 * 3 = $36.

Where is the error, other than my rounding 2 US pints into a liter?
