Recently MSNBC made the statement that the "right wing" would hate a biracial family.

When I think about it, I can't help but wonder who is really more apt to have a "biracial" family? I suspect it's conservatives by a long-shot, here's why:
1. From what I've seen, middle class and upper class liberals usually seem content to have their one or two biological children. Conservatives tend to have larger families. Almost all of the children adopted from China, Guatemala, Korea, and Africa have been from very conservative and religious families.
2. I've known many conservative military service men that married women from the Philippines, Vietnam, or wherever they were stationed. Liberal men are much less apt to join the military and have this option available to them.
3. Many of the American men and women I know that are married to someone from India or Africa are those from missionary families. There's no one more conservative than missionary families.
Although we probably really can't call them conservative, but they were Republican Presidential candidates, Romney has a black grandchild, McCain has an adopted daughter (Guatemala?), Bush has several Latina in-laws.
I doubt there's any data on this topic anywhere, and I guess it doesn't matter other than exposing the endless hypocrisies the left.
What have you observed?
Such things must really frighten the left. They realize that they can’t see a non white face and know for sure if it belongs to them.
Actually, what I’ve observed in my environment is what you did...a proclivity for intact biracial families to be conservative.
Although I have seen a lot of biracial children raised by single moms.

There WAS an African-American couple there too in Kenya, perhaps looking for THEIR "roots," and they were SHELL-SHOCKED at how LIGHT they were compared to the Kenyan tribes. They were dark compared to ME but almost white compared to the Kenyan tribes...ALL of them. It was good for all of us to see that.
So this article on biracial family only amuses. MOST "African-Americans" ARE biracial, whether they think so or not.
If they don't believe that statement they need ONLY to take a trip "back to Africa"--hah, what a joke--and just see with their own eyes how African they are NOT.

Since liberals are the great murderers by abortion of babies one could assume they have the same regard for children after they are born...
The sun is stronger in Africa. This makes Africans blacker (more tanned in a way)than blacks who live in America. Also as you mention, the white and Indian blood that American blacks have flowing in their veins

I have seen that too. In fact a fried of a friend of mine is a really sweet black woman who is married to this really nice white guy.
Before she found her husband my friend asked her why she decided to start dating white guys. She responded that she wanted find a good black man to settle down with but that they are rare as hen’s teeth and they get snapped up pretty quickly and that she wasn’t just looking for a white man, but she was looking for a respectful nice man, no matter the race.
My friend has said that some of her blood relatives won’t talk to her anymore because they think she “betrayed her race”. She said her in laws family are all very nice folks and she has never felt unwanted around ANY of them.
Which is kinda sad example of how the leftist cannibalization has screwed up this country.
EXACTLY! The only people who worry about it are the "quota" types; i.e., liberals!!!
Who cares which side has more biracial families? The only way for this country to get over its racial divide is to stop counting people by race, stop dividing us by who our ancestors were. Treat people like people whenever possible. For now, that’ll have to exclude groups of urban “yutes” for the obvious safety reasons, but the larger picture still holds true.
Talk about rude.
Next time, ask them why they married an ugly one!

When it was proved to the public that George Zimmerman is one eighth black and three eighths native South American, the left went ballistic and doubled down on the goofy white supremist allegations.
Barack Obama had to make a great show of registering himself African American on the census - even he could not be publically multiracial within the upper echelon of the Democrat party.
So obviously a lot of people care in some regions.
Here in the southwest multiracial families are pretty much the norm though.
The issue is this:
The left is so race focused that biracial relationship is a political statement on their part. So if they engage in one becomes the person a political statement accessory instead of a one to one relationship. That does not produce a healthy relationship
Sadly someone is no longer human being they become a statement and accessory to prove you’re something special.
