The ER staff was amazing. The doc and staff continued to work the CPR for another half hour after we got him there. PEA was still present. The compassion was evident, from everyone involved. Some nights everything is done, things go smoothly, yet the outcome is preordained to be bad.
And that’s all we can do, is our best. It makes it easier to deal with the outcome over time.
