I would not suggest Lone Survivor as a date movie. Pretty gory, loaded with f-bombs, high tension.

Yah!! I just realized that after looking at the reviews.

I am glad I looked. I mean it’s a fantastic story.. but not good to take a date to.

Well, *I* liked Lone Survivor and so did my daughter. Actually, it was my daughter who brought the movie to my attention.

How about asking your date what SHE wants to see so you can both decide together??

I disagree. It is real. Triggers emotions, thoughts both good and bad. I may be odd but to me dates were all about finding out about one another and determining whether or not you wanted to spend more time together. You can learn a lot about a person after an experience like watching Lone Survivor together.
