Got any recommendations for an integrated programming environment for C++ etc ... equivalent to M$ Vi$ual $tudio?

I've never used Visual Studio, so I can't compare them, but Eclipse is pretty good, and it comes with a ton of plugins for a variety of development environments.

It usually comes as part of the distro's software repository as well, so it's pretty easy to get.

I like the GNU tool chain along with netbeans as an IDE.
