I guess the reason WABC does not broadcast the third hour is that Savage is not going live, I can’t believe he is still doing canned third hours.

It is surprising that Sizemore survived at all. I have a hard time drumming up too much sympathy for people who seem to have it all, then throw it away.. Lohan,Spears,Bieber,Cyrus, etc.

Most days the third hour is partly canned, some days its not, there’s no way of knowing what you’re getting. But a lot of hosts—Lars Larson, Laura Ingraham, John Bachelor, Larry Elder, etc. have only 1or 2 hours of 3 or 4 hour shows broadcast in some markets, but they don’t use it as an excuse to do something like that in the last hour. He’s been doing this for years and it’s one of people’s biggest complaints about him.

I have company tonight and its somebody who despises all talk radio, so won’t be tempted to tune in.

I have started a fairly lively thread discussing the Levin-Savage thread on coastgab(or Bellgab, whichever you want to call it). They have threads dealing with other radio programming.

Agreed, I don’t if you remember but Michael Mann produced a tv series Robbery Homicide I believe was the title, anyway it had a “Heat” like vibe to it, definitely had potential with Sizemore in the lead but what happened, after one season he flamed out on drugs and the show had to be cancelled.
