Supermodel Kathy Ireland was named top ranking swimsuit cover model during the 'Sports Illustrated Swimsuit: 50 Years of Beautiful' special, which aired last night on NBC, for her 1989 cover of the 25th Anniversary Swimsuit Edition of SI.

I used to have a life size cardboard standup of Kathy Ireland, it was a St. Patrick’s Day promo, so she was wearing a green dress. Wish I still had it.

Was always my favorite SI Swimsuit model. On top of that, she has great morals and a smart businesswoman; and a Christian, too.
