Wouldn't that course have had to meet scrutiny of a governing board for the sport? I'm being cruel, but here goes. Two people did get injured on that course but probably a lot more didn't. Maybe it's just a really tough course and they're going to have to up their game to get a medal.
This being Russia, I have no idea. If the governing federation was allowed to approve plans, there’s no guaranty they were followed.
