Totally agree about Friedman. He is a living joke. Think of an issue. Now think what Friedman will say about it. I can write it for him. Embarrassingly predictable and total absence of critical thinking.
Very interesting article. I found the fact that the Times couldn’t even drag its favored candidates over the line (in a town where only 22% of the registered voters bothered to vote) to be particularly interesting.
It’s gotten, as various reporters said, more strident and less well-written and engaging, particularly in its editorial section.
Maybe the left will finally do itself in simply by being boring.
