Brilliant!
I still have electricity and a crock pot, so I like to make Overnight Oatmeal:
2 chopped apples (don’t peel)
1 sliced banana (peel!)
1/2 c brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
Pinch of salt (1/8 tsp.)
2 cups oatmeal, 2 cups milk & 2 cups water
Put the first items in your crock pot and lightly mix. Put the oatmeal on top. Pour over the water and milk and DO NOT STIR.
Cover & cook for 8 hours on low, overnight. Stir & eat.
A WONDERFUL winter breakfast. :)
